We had a great time at the Old West Round-Up for the new Pagosa Mountain Hospital on Sept. 29. Our game was popular and the club had a good turnout as always.
What a great turnout we had from the club to help with the sport swap last weekend. Nancy Cole was beside herself with praise for the club. Thank You All. A great big thank you to Jim and Nancy Cole for running this again this year. The vendors really came through with great products and a wide selection. We plan to expand our publicity next year to place flyers in South Fork, Chama, and Durango. We believe we are one of only a couple of sports swaps west of I-25. I have been out of town since and have not had a chance to hear from Nancy Cole on how well we did, but I'll bet it is another success. We also set a record at the Sport Swap Bake Sale with about $320 collected for an all time record. Thanks to Marcia Baker and Linda Espinosa for setting this up and thanks to all of you bakers on that great team.
Just a reminder that our club has agreed to set up a booth at the Halloween Party from 06:00pm to around 08:00pm Oct 31 with our "Washer Horseshoe" game. This event is held at the Community Center Multi-Purpose room every halloween. The kids have a great time. Come on by to watch.
Remember, the December meeting is where we will elect our new board. We still could use a couple of candidates. Call me at 264-4145 or e-mail
