Although half of us were the walking wounded, Ken & Joanne Long; Doug & Susie Farmer; Bob & Robyn Harrington; and David & Shirley Hunter still managed to have an enjoyable visit to Zion.
The brilliant fall colors interspersed with soaring Canyon Walls and absolutely perfect weather made our visit a real treat. There was something for everyone from Hidden Canyon & Echo Canyon to The River Narrows, The Emerald Pools or just wondering the valley trails overhung with large cottonwoods. Some of our group enjoyed the Imax Theatre’s “Zion Land of the Gods” and David finally, after 15 years trying, got Shirley to hike Angel’s Landing.
