Let me say that I really enjoyed the November program. It was a great way to recap the year and thank all the leaders for a job well done.
We had a great time at the Community Center's Halloween Party. Our "Washer Horseshoe" game was popular. We gave out a lot of candy. Thanks to Jim Carson, Linda Espinosa, and Charleen Stipe for running the game and to Gary Brewer and Jim Cole for cleanup.
We had a number of people attend, with several biking the road to the top, some hiking the gravel road, and most hiking the trail up. Weather and views were great, and the cactus grew very attached to us. Otherwise, a great Saturday for activities when the snow is late in coming.
Although half of us were the walking wounded, Ken & Joanne Long; Doug & Susie Farmer; Bob & Robyn Harrington; and David & Shirley Hunter still managed to have an enjoyable visit to Zion.
We had a great time at the Old West Round-Up for the new Pagosa Mountain Hospital on Sept. 29. Our game was popular and the club had a good turnout as always.
